Youth League Rules 7s

BASICS RULES U10 SEVENS

NUMBER OF PLAYERS : 7 a side
REPLACEMENTS : Rolling Subs
PLAYING FIELD : 60 metres x 50 metres
PLAYING TIME : 2 x 5 minutes
INTERVAL TIME : 1 minute between period
REFEREEING : Club Referee ( WR LEVEL ONE)
FOUL PLAY : Penalty (free kick),Temporary 1 minute suspension, or sending off, depending on the seriousness of the offence. A replacement is mandatory.
TACKLE :Tackling is done using both arms, and must imperatively be effected “Short” Tackle. If tackling is done at a higher level, it will be sanctioned.

TACKLE : Tackling is done using both arms, “SHORT “Tackle . If tackling is done at a higher level, it will be sanctioned

REPLACEMENTS : Limited to a maximum of 5 players during stoppage of play
PLAYING FIELD : Full field
PLAYING TIME : 2*7 = 14 minutes
INTERVAL TIME : 2 minutes between period
REFEREEING : Club Referee (WR Level 1 )
FOUL PLAY : Penalty, temporary 2 minute suspension, or sending off, depending on the seriousness of the offence. Player sent off is not replaced
TACKLE : Tackling is done using both arms, “SHORT” tackle If tackling is done at a higher level, it will be sanctioned.
